About me
Beth Hewett, M.Ed., LDT, CALT-QI, completed her Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) training at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2008. She earned her Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) certification in 2010 and became a Qualified Instructor (CALT-QI) in 2024. In her current position as a Dyslexia Specialist at the Education Service Center (ESC) Region 11, Beth provides professional development on topics related to dyslexia, dysgraphia, and various dyslexia curricula. Prior to joining ESC Region 11, she served as a Dyslexia Therapist in public schools, delivering targeted therapy for students with dyslexia and managing the district’s comprehensive dyslexia program.
