About me
Lydia Evans is a passionate advocate for students with disabilities, proudly serving as the ESC Region 11 Transition Specialist. With experience as a Transition Specialist in local LEAs and a Transition Counselor for Texas Workforce Vocational Rehabilitation Services, she has dedicated her career to empowering young people. She also co-created the ENGAGE program at the University of North Texas, supporting neurodivergent students in navigating college life and turning their degrees into careers. Lydia believes transition planning is a powerful tool for building meaningful, community-integrated adult lives—and that with the right support, every student can achieve a bright future.
