This session will explore strategies for leveraging TCR tools for curriculum planning while incorporating Bluebonnet to enhance differentiation, collaboration, and student engagement. Leave with practical resources and strategies to seamlessly blend Bluebonnet and TCR for a more dynamic and effective instructional approach.

 In this session, participants will explore a gamified approach to Socratic Seminars that enhances student engagement, collaboration, and critical thinking. Educators will learn how to implement this structured discussion game to differentiate instruction and encourage deeper reasoning in math.


During Socratic Showdowns, students earn points for critical thinking moves such as citing evidence, asking clarifying questions, multiple representations, and making connections. By combining the principles of the Socratic method with the excitement of competition, this protocol can foster deeper analysis, active participation, and differentiated learning experiences for all learners. The session will provide hands-on experience, including role-playing as students and ideas for designing your own Socratic Showdown experience.
